Senior Vice President

Reporting to the President/CEO of the health system, in this highly visible role, you will be responsible for medical group administration, business development, quality, recruitment and program oversight. As a member of the senior administrative team of the health system and working in a collaborative leadership effort, you will provide medical and administrative leadership to physicians who are employed by the health system. We will rely on you to consistently demonstrate behavior that reflects the health system's values of excellence, communication, trust, teamwork, responsibility and respect in all work-related actions and decisions.

The successful candidate will also direct all aspects of the health system's medical policies and programs; prepare and present operational and financial reports; adhere to corporate compliance, risk management and safety standards; and implement organizational structures that promote shared accountability. Requirements include:
Medical Degree, complemented by a clinical/administrative background, and a Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Medical Management or a related field
Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia
At least 3 years experience in the administration of a physician group practice
A minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience
Board-certified/eligible in a clinical specialty
Strong working knowledge of applicable legal and accrediting standards
Working knowledge of information technology, including statistical analysis, clinical epidemiology, and medical informatics
Strong negotiation skills
