The healthcare organization is seeking an innovative physician who is interested in expanding their knowledge outside the practice of clinical medicine, specifically in the areas of medical informatics, health care analytics and disease management.

The Medical Director will have direct responsibility for supporting and/or guiding the clinical components of organization's chronic care and disease management initiatives, as well as, supporting and facilitating the application of clinically robust, data-driven insight within our product lines, services, and initiatives. Qualified candidates will also assist with the design and enhancement of analytical products, and identification and development of new products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain evidence-based clinical policies across the organization’s products and programs;
• Develop, maintain, and continuously evaluate and improve the impact of interventions designed translate those   clinical policies into programs and products that improve the quality, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of health   care;
• Assist in representing and promoting the products, services, capabilities, and vision of the Company to clients,   potential clients, persons associated with such, industry, general public, and other such people and/or audiences;

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have a Degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from an accredited medical school, and possess strong clinical knowledge and experience; particularly in medical informatics, healthcare administration, managed care organizations, consulting firm or government agencies. Candidates must also be experienced in disease management, clinical and quality outcomes measurement and improvement, epidemiology, and medical administration. In addition, qualified candidates will be highly computer literate, detail oriented, and posses meticulous organizational skills.
