Job Summary
Responsible for oversight and ongoing refinement of the behavioral health program. Specific responsibilities include achievement of corporate-wide in sourcing of behavioral health services, implementation oversight of behavioral health management of new business, exploration of new products to enhance behavioral healthcare, NCQA behavioral health accreditation, chair of the Behavioral Health
Provide oversight and decision making regarding program development for Behavioral Health Services. Support the Behavioral Health Departments at the health plan level to manage the contracted benefit to meet the needs of members. Responsible for program development of Behavioral Health services for all lines of business as needed.
Initiates, develops and maintains Behavioral Health policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, workflows and training materials for all lines of business and obtains appropriate committee approval
Responsible for oversight of the Behavioral Health Advisory Committee. Attends national conferences and represents the health plan in Behavioral Health events.
Assist with strategic planning activities related to Behavioral Health Services. Recommend changes and improvements where Participation in other Committees (Medical, QI, UM, Attends national conferences and represents the health plan in Behavioral Health events.

Education
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology preferred. Master’s level in related field required.
Experience
Five years experience in the practice of Clinical Psychology Understanding of Managed Care.
Licensure/Certification
Ph.D. preferred; minimum licensed master’s level clinician. All licensure must be free of sanctions from Medicaid or any other government program and without restrictions that would affect job performance.
